  Dear DC-CCP Community,

  From all of us at DC-CCP leadership, we cordially invite you to join us as we bring pharmacists, student pharmacists, and pharmacy technicians from across the D.C. Metropolitan area together for an opportunity to earn up to three continuing education credits at our DC-CCP Fall CE Event.

  Please join us on Saturday, November 14th from 8AM to Noon at the MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH) Auditorium (102 Irving St NW, Washington, DC 20010) for a morning of in-person education events that include:

  • 3 CE topics hosted by clinical pharmacists
  • Free Breakfast (begins at 8 AM)
  • Announcements/updates on opportunities with DC-CCP

  Topics will include:

  • 9 AM: Ready When It Matters: Emergency Preparedness for Pharmacy Practice
  • 10 AM: Prevention of Medication Errors in Heart Failure and Pulmonary Hypertension   
  • 11 AM: Pharmacologic Considerations in LVAD Therapy: Optimizing Outcomes in Advanced Heart Failure 

  Registration is now open and is free for members! We are offering a discounted new membership rate of $30 to pharmacists and $5 to technicians; this low fee will give you access to this event and to future events and membership for the next year.  We are also offering WMSHP members access to this Fall CE event for a low fee of $10.  Vouchers for free parking in the Blue Garage next to NRH will be available at the event.  New members and WMSHP members should sign up here to gain access to the event:
