A Chapter of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP)   


Welcome to the District of Columbia College of Clinical PharmacY

DC-CCP is a non-profit professional association and an independent chapter of the American College of Clinical Pharmacy dedicated to improvements in pharmacotherapy practice, education, and research in the Washington DC Capital Region, including the District of Columbia, State of Maryland, and Commonwealth of Virginia. We work to advocate for the pharmacy profession, to educate future and current clinicians, and to give back to the community.

Membership is open to any licensed or registered health care professional or health care professional student in the Capital Region. Membership in the American College of Clinical Pharmacy is not required to become a member of our organization.

    Dear DC-CCP Community,

    From all of us at DC-CCP leadership, we cordially invite you to join us as we bring pharmacists, pharmacy students, and technicians from across the D.C. Metropolitan area together for a networking and educational opportunity to earn up to three CE credits.

    We are proud to offer these continuing education sessions for you on Saturday, November 14th at the MedStar National Rehabilitation Hospital (NRH) Auditorium (102 Irving St NW, Washington, DC 20010) for a morning of in-person education and learning events that include:

    • 3 CE topics hosted by clinical pharmacists
    • Breakfast provided
    • Announcements/updates on exciting opportunities with DC-CCP

    Topics include:

    • Prevention of Medication Errors in Heart Failure and Pulmonary Hypertension   
    • Pharmacologic Considerations in LVAD Therapy: Optimizing Outcomes in Advanced Heart Failure 
    • Ready When It Matters: Emergency Preparedness for Pharmacy Practice

    Registration is now open and is free for members! We are offering a discounted new membership rate of $30 to pharmacists and $5 to technicians; this low fee will give you access to this event, future events and membership for the next year.  We are also offering WMSHP members access to this event for a low fee of $10.
